I love muse! I'm glad you used a song from thier lesser known album instead of the obvious knights of cydonia or supermassive black hole. Anyway back to the actual flash, it was great! The animation was great and pretty smooth, and your animation styles compliment each other quite nicely.

I read some reviews before this and some of the complaints were that it was too "emo" for them. Although this song's subject is a little dark I would hardly call the song emo, although depressing seems appropriate. Disagreeing with a post before me, I think your animations did reflect the song, and the desperation that was within the song was the best thing I think that you captured in the final project.

The only reason I did not give you guys a 10/10 was because some of the clips of this did not flow very well into one another. The beginning you briefly showed the guy looking out onto, supposedly, his former girlfriend, but it is not clear and you could have shown that a little more explicitly because it goes straight into the crazy mourning part of the flash with no build-up, and no context into the craziness of, what I assume, is the despair you are trying to show.

This flash made me laugh from the start, it's humor was up at the caliber of all your other flashes. I did not give it a higher score because it was too short and there was nothing exceedingly impressive about this flash, it was just some good fun.

The animation in this film was amazing! The storytelling was really good as well, you created good personalities for characters with very little dialog. The ending was unexpected and hilarious too, you just made a new fan!

"Avoid the scoops"

You do a lot of vocal scoops in this song, and they make the vocals not as good as your could probably make them. The piano was good, but the scoops make your notes a little wavy so that when you hit them they sound, as I guess people think, "unnatural".

Also, you try to do the tremolo with your voice, during the chorus you do it a lot, and it isn't as good as it should be (it's still pretty good) but for a song like this it needs to be perfect for it to sound good.

Anyhoo those are my constructive comments for this song, It was still really good. I hope you get some help from it.

"Awesome"

This song was really cool, I really got into it. Can't believe it's your first.

Try mixing up the guitar a little bit, just adding some effects into the mix. For most of the the songs I like I feel the melody (guitar) should always be changing or it sounds kinda repetitive. This song had that repetitive feel but I really think just little effects (like distortion as F-777 suggested) can make the song that much better.
