"Avoid the scoops"

You do a lot of vocal scoops in this song, and they make the vocals not as good as your could probably make them. The piano was good, but the scoops make your notes a little wavy so that when you hit them they sound, as I guess people think, "unnatural".

Also, you try to do the tremolo with your voice, during the chorus you do it a lot, and it isn't as good as it should be (it's still pretty good) but for a song like this it needs to be perfect for it to sound good.

Anyhoo those are my constructive comments for this song, It was still really good. I hope you get some help from it.

This song was really cool, I really got into it. Can't believe it's your first.

Try mixing up the guitar a little bit, just adding some effects into the mix. For most of the the songs I like I feel the melody (guitar) should always be changing or it sounds kinda repetitive. This song had that repetitive feel but I really think just little effects (like distortion as F-777 suggested) can make the song that much better.

"Got the feel"

You got the right feel to the music and the rhythm was good, but it was a little too simple. It didn't really change much throughout the entire song, and the basis to metal, guitar, was a little too slow and simple. It sounds good though, keep up the good work!

This song is great, just to start off. But I kind of have a problem wit the singer. It's great, don't get me wrong, but sometimes she went a little sharp or flat when she strained her voice during the verses. Not a big deal, but it kinda jumped out at me.

You have a great voice.. Have you ever had voicec training? If you havn't I would highly recommend it. I took vocal classes at my school (who happens to have a great vocal program, who woulda thought?) and it did wonders. This was a great cover though, good job.
